NILA SCREEN

NILA SCREEN

Inquire

Designed in collaboration with French fashion designer Olivia Dar, an alum of Christian Lacroix’s haute-couture atelier, the Nila Screen was inspired by Le Corbusier’s iconic structures for the Chandigarh Capitol Complex. An abstract pattern is rendered both in wood marquetry and hand embroidery, the curves of which are echoed in the rounded edges of all six panels. Cobalt thread nods directly to the blue-paneled theater at Chandigarh’s Neelam Cinema.

Metal Finishes

Our metals are formulated, hand-cast and finished in our factory. Environmental changes during the formulation, casting and hand finishing process can result in minor natural pitting and slight variations between finishes. In addition, the sheen and texture of metal changes depending on the application - for instance, rounded surfaces tend to display a higher degree of sheen than flat surfaces using the same finish. Finish samples are only presented as representative of color or texture and not as exact matches – a degree of variation is normal and to be expected. Photographs of finishes are subject to the limitations of photography and may vary from physical samples and final product.
